decentralized teaching communities

dTeach aims to revolutionize the way educational resources are created and shared using decentralized production methods. Our platform utilizes blockchain technology to ensure transparency and collaboration in resource creation, while also providing economic opportunities for creators through rewards and compensation. We believe that this approach will lead to the production of higher quality resources, as well as promote economic inclusion and equal opportunities.

About

decentralized teaching communities (dTeach) is an open and free educational content production platform aimed at teacher training.

The dTeach communities develop digital educational content through a complex and collaborative process of elaboration, editing, revision, and constant improvement. Our communitiy of authors, editors, designers, and other contributors work with a clear mission:
To make relevant, critical, and in-depth educational content reach teachers in an accessible and open way.
Our objective is to decentralize the production of Open Educational Resources (OER) through collaborative perspectives that contribute to the dissemination of high-quality knowledge. For this, we value teaching and research in education, and we want to make the production of content more horizontal, also contemplating the points of view of teachers and those in the classroom.

The educational content of the dTeach platform is created by authors with a solid and proven academic background and professional experience in the field of education; it is presented in accessible textual and visual languages, which stimulate learning with criticality in a light and exciting way.

We want to create learning opportunities in which contemporary education research is considered and reaches the classroom, using collaborative perspectives rather than hierarchical and non-teacher-included programs.

We advocate a process whereby teachers and students are not seen as passive consumers of educational materials. A teacher’s continuing education is critical to student success and better involvement as an educator.
